WELCOME TO M&M UNHARNESSED
OUR GOAL!
Our goal at M&M Unharnessed is to retrain ex racehorses to be great riding horses and help them find great homes. We have been around horses our entire lives and have 10+ years of experience riding and working with horses of many breeds, personalities, ages and disciplines. Your horse will receive daily care and turnout, and a minimum of 5 training sessions a week. We will share more information about M&M Unharnessed as we get closer to opening in the spring. We look forward to working with some amazing horses and helping them start a new life!
All of our services put your animals’ needs front and center in a safe and caring environment. We can work in a variety of ways depending on the needs of you and your horse.
GROUND TRAINING
Our Ground Training work involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Your horse has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. We combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your horse.
HORSE BEHAVIOR TRAINING
If your animal needs help with a specific physical or behavioral issue, Horse Behavior Training with M&M Unharnessed may be a great option for you. Sessions can be done at our training facility with personalized plans to fit your horse’s needs and your lifestyle.
SADDLE BREAKING
We will take every step of your horse’s training at their pace! While at M&M Unharnessed your horse will go back to the basics and work up from there. We understand it is a big change for your horse to go from races to riding. During your horses time here we will take every step with a positive and patient mindset!
